ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Marisa your equine photographer

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and mystique of horses. Growing up in Ilkley, Yorkshire, on the edge of the famous wild and windy moors, I developed a deep appreciation for these incredible animals and the landscapes they move through.

After studying equine science, I finished my studies with a fine art degree in photography. (subject: horses of course!) By that time I had moved to Devon in the South West of England and was lucky enough to live near Dartmoor National Park with its wild native ponies and dramatic, open moorland, perfect for galloping across on my dearest horse Holly.

But, it wasn’t until I moved to Mallorca and found my sweet boy Arrecife (pictured) that I had the time to fully commit to equine photography.

I believe everyone should have beautiful photographs of their beloved horse adorning their home to admire everyday.

Last Christmas, I had the pleasure of buying a photo from Marisa as a present for my niece in Canada who is an avid horse lover. It was very easy to buy and send it. My niece had it printed and framed and keeps it in her stable with her ribbons and trophies (and horses). All of Marisa’s photos are stunningly beautiful.
